College Continues to Monitor Storm (9/6/17)

The College of Charleston continues to monitor the possible threat of Hurricane Irma. College officials have been working throughout the day with city, county and state emergency preparedness teams to track the storm and make plans.

At this time, the College remains on its normal business schedule.

On Thursday morning (September 7), Physical Plant and grounds crew members – following the institution’s storm preparedness protocols – will begin taking precautionary measures regarding some of our campus facilities.

Also, on Thursday morning, College officials will again meet with city, county and state emergency preparedenss teams to assess the situation and determine any next steps.

The College will continue to send updates as more information becomes available.
