In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Act, the Department of Public Safety is informing the College of Charleston campus community of an off campus, homicide.

Offense Type: Homicide. Gun shot victim

Date (of offense): 06/28/2022

Time (of offense): 11:40 p.m. to 11:50 p.m.

Location: Area of Radcliffe St., between King St. and St Philip St., Charleston, SC

Suspect(s) status:  At large; Suspect fled on foot and may have then fled in a vehicle in unknown direction of travel.

Suspect(s) Description: Male, wearing gray “hoodie” type shirt or sweatshirt.

Incident Description: Report received of shots fired in area. CPD located a gun shot victim, deceased, in a parking lot area off Radcliffe St. Suspect(s) had fled scene.
