Campus Advisory: OFF-CAMPUS Aggravated Assault

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Act, the Department of Public Safety is informing the College of Charleston campus community of an OFF-CAMPUS Aggravated Assault.

Date of offense:                  April 28, 2023

Time of offense:                   Approximately 12:10 PM

Reported to:                          The Charleston Police Department

Location:                               Marion Square Park, Calhoun and King Sts.

Suspect status:                    At Large

Suspect Description:           White male 60s, balding gray hair, wearing a gray shirt and khaki pants, and white female, 60s, gray hair, wearing dark shirt, gray pants, red plaid over-shirt

Incident Description:           The victim and suspects became engaged in a verbal argument in Marion Square. The victim was subsequently stabbed with an unknown object.  Suspects fled area north on Meeting St. towards John St.
