Timely Warning: Off-Campus Sexual Assault

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Act, the Department of Public Safety is informing the College of Charleston campus community of an off-campus sexual assault.

Date (of offense): 07/10/2022

Time (of offense): Between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Reported to: The Charleston Police Department

Location: In the area of Burns Lane

Suspect status: At large

Suspect Description: Black Male, 5’8”-5’9”; 120 lbs, age unknown, very long Dreadlocks.

Incident Description: Victim reports the suspect sexually assaulted her while in the area of Burns Lane.
